The International Animal Assistance Network (IAAN)

The International Animal Assistance Network (IAAN) is an affinity group of grantmaking foundations, international animal welfare support organizations and veterinary assistance organizations. We work around the world on issues involving companion animals, farm animals, draught animals, animals used in research, animals used for fur, wildlife protection, and animals at risk or suffering needlessly as a result of human activity.

We have joined together in an effort to coordinate our work so that our resources are used more effectively and strategically in improving the welfare of animals throughout the world.

While most of the content of this website is for IAAN members, we provide some resources for the public: a calendar of events, links to other websites, and a broad overview of the challenges facing animals throughout the world in the section on International Animal Welfare Issues.
